artist‘s note: “Deep in the mountain, you will find the lush smells and foliage. Here you are silent witnesses, to a dreamlike scene, the struggle between the Devil and the guao bush (a poisonous plant that causes the skin to swell). This piece leads us through Cuban mythology, as a symbolic landscape that is articulated through the metaphysical, the imaginary. Before you, you find a scene of tension, a dispute to find out who will prevail, the plant or the evil?”
